︎︎︎ Visual identity for Cargo Cult, an exhibition by Aalto University’s furniture design master students presented at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair.
The exhibition brought together ten containers and storage objects designed for precious personal belongings, exploring ideas of value, belief, and material culture. The title references the Melanesian “cargo cult,” where carefully constructed systems were believed to attract desired goods or outcomes.
The visual identity draws from themes of containers, repetition, and accumulation, creating a graphic framework used across exhibition materials. As part of the visual direction, a custom pool structure was built for the photography, giving the objects a distinctive setting and reinforcing the exhibition’s conceptual atmosphere.
